What’s Your Monster Name?
This reminded me of one of my favorite children’s books: The Monster at the End of this Book! I loved reading it to my little brother over and over again. Highly recommend it to those with children in their lives!

I’ve always wanted to try painting.
But then there’s all those supplies you have to buy and trying to figure out where to store everything when not in use. In my case, that would most likely mean the basement which might as well be own personal oubliette
for projects.
Then a friend showed me ArtRage, an unbelievably easy to use and free piece of software from Ambient Design.
There’s a pay version of the software that I haven’t tried yet. It’s only 25 bucks so I might in the future. For now, I am trying the free version which isn’t limited to the point of frustrating unusability.
Here’s my first doodle:

Long live Google Product Search!
According to CNET News,
Acknowledging that it’s better to be clear than clever, Google is rebranding “Froogle” as “Google Product Search” and simplifying the interface to match the main search site, a top executive said on Wednesday.
Also in a bid to push their payment processing product a new feature that lets users display only merchants that accept Google Checkout has been added.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve always liked the name Froogle! I do admit that when verbally telling people about Froogle I always had to spell it and explain that it was Google’s search engine for shopping and price comparison.
I hope this isn’t a sign that the fun and young Google is turning into a stuffy corporate ol’ fogey.
