This reminded me of one of my favorite children’s books: The Monster at the End of this Book! I loved reading it to my little brother over and over again. Highly recommend it to those with children in their lives!

Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose…

Haven’t thought about this song in MANY years and all of a sudden the tune popped into my head tonight.

Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose
Will I ever see thee wed
I will marry at thy will sire,
at thy will.

I learned this at girl scout camp and we sung it in a round. I think we included other versus but I only really remember the above.

Pleasantly surprised to find several variations on YouTube, included below for your listening pleasure/curiosity!

Then there was also this odd video that I didn’t quite get:
